Our Street Security Team are capable of diligently monitoring the neighbourhood or location. The Vectra Security mobile security teams give constant presence on our streets acting as a deterrent to antisocial behaviour in the community. All security are in direct radio communication with each other, businesses and charities and the Police to deal with any issues or concerns swiftly in the area.
All our staff are trained in ACT (Action Counter Terrorism) and SCaN (See Check & Notify) which has given extra training on vigilance as well as knowledge in terms of hostile reconnaissance, suspicious or hostile behaviour and training on how to deal with such situations such as the power of hello.
Vectra Security Solutions can provide both daytime and night-time teams. For our Daytime teams working in the Retail environment all staff have been trained in the use of ASCONE (Approach, Select, Conceal, Observe, non – Payment, Exit) in the event of a retail theft as well as training to deal with first aid incidents, anti-social behaviour. In 2022, a study by the Centre for Retail Research found that shoplifting cost the British Economy £660,000,000 in 2021 – 2022. Our BID teams strive to protect local businesses all the while ensuring all laws such as the police and criminal evidence at are followed at all times with the process of detaining shoplifters.
Our Services
For our Night-time economy Teams, they will be experiencing and dealing with anti-social behaviour and members of the public who are intoxicated when leaving local bars and clubs and other types of licenced venues in the area. Our Security Operatives have experience in working in Licenced Venues and different types of events as well as attending training course such as ACT and WAVE to top up and continually furthering their knowledge.
